Are you looking for an excellent opportunity in the field of commercial baking? We have a great position at a well-known, consumer packaged goods company for a mid-level person to help in the maintenance department.
General Position Summary:
What can you expect? This job is designed to assist the Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer with creating planned word documents, updating the CMMS system, keeping accurate records, maintenance KPI report generation, and other assigned tasks.
Your Day to Day: This person will be responsible for:
Compiling accurate preventive maintenance percentages
Inputting all downtime into the Maintenance system
Create and posting the technician's schedule weekly
Updating and maintaining man-hour working/overtime tracking
Making sure records are up to date for all audit paperwork
Keeping track of and scheduling yearly inspections
Managing and implementing lock-out tag out.
Review and keep all lock-out records.
Issue Lock-out to new employees, and replacement locks.
Yearly review of all locks assigned to techs.
Distribute new technician packets to all new techs
Keep a record of upcoming projects from maintenance management and corporate maintenance managers
Keep a record of parts required for select projects
Keep track of new parts/ equipment minimum spare part lists
Keep a proper schedule for the special repair or project
Create repair kits include a copy of work order, and all parts required for the repair
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to use Microsoft product Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Computer skills
Organized and able to multitask.
Able to lift upwards of 30 lbs, walk, stand for extended periods of time.
Able to sit for an extended period.
This is not a full job description; other duties or tasks can be assigned by the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer.
Other Capabilities and Requirements: Must be able to work in and around operating equipment in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for a combined 8 or more hours a day. Must be able to lift, push, pull or otherwise transport up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work from/travel to remote locations as needed and to work non-typical hours at times.
